My old faithful rexlace keychain finally broke and I decided since I was remaking it I might as well film a tutorial on how to make one for yourselves!
YOU WILL NEED:
– plastic lace (Rexlace, Gimp, Boondoggle, scoubidou etc.)
-Scissors

Can you message me and tell me how I can connect two of these together. I’m trying to make a necklace or basically a necklace with a long part to hold a whistle
I used crochet thread, did teardrop loop from friendship bracelets and now I'm making a couple as key chains for my friends. Thank you for easy tutorial ♥️, I'll edit my comment to add link to photo when I post it ?
Ok imma try this 2morrow cause that looks dope I seen this months and thought it was complicated but its a new me lol and I wanna try it… I love doing the box and round stitch learned it since 5th grade and never forgot it so I'm sure imma learn a new type for life and its all thanx 2u so thank so much in advance… I'll come back when I'm done and update
U make it so much easier to follow
This might be a stupid question, but I’ve never been able to do this stitch do I need the flat scoobies it’s just I cannot find them anywhere?
So I know this is a stupid question but is she related to Maren Morris
wow thank you so much
i really like how mines turned out
thanks to you :DD
I learned it at camp & I LOVE IT
thank you so much!! you explained clearly the techniques step by step and i did it too!! amazing???
thank you soo much this helps a lot !
Is it possible to do rexlace with friendship thread
GREAT VIDEO!!! Thank you!
Like SOOOO many here, I loved doing these at summer camp at Camp Easton near Ely Minnesota on Little Long Lake.
I did really complex stuff by the time I left the camp after 4 2-month summers there. Been trying to remember HOW I did them, after all it was the mid 1970s!!
Thanks for showing us this. I have ben looking at to many tutorials that made no sense or YouTubers that cannot make a good video even though they know their stuff. Turned 60 this year and have thought about this stuff and just found locally where I can get the lacing. I'm sure the stuff I used back then was wider, but maybe it was just that my hands were smaller?? ahahaha
Great to be making this stuff again.
Can I use embroidery floss for this
I first learned how to make these at summer camp around 1980, when I was 5 and have been making them every once in awhile since then, but I've never been able to start one myself and STILL can't! That part is so confusing to me!! HELP!!!
Wow
Your instructions were so easy for a visual learner like I, that I was able to use 2 transparent glitter colors without messing up at all. thank you.
I'm super super glad that I found your channel! A long time ago, my friend started making me a keychain like this and I finished it. My neighbor saw it and asked me how to make it. I'm going to make her one now that I know how to start it. Very well explained!
To start mine I use a tini split ring (like key ring but will lay flat on your fingernail with room to spare.
I got them from Wal-Mart back website is cousin.com they are in Largo, FL. 33773
Use a TINY "key ring" at the start of your project(s) and harder to wear out or brake the lace on your project. Craft store or department should have them. The ones I have a pea will barley fit in center.
I love it!! N i love the way you do it!! Your way is the easiest way for me. N the easier than the other way!! Thank you for that lesson!!
Why do you talk so fuckin much ?! You talk sooo much before showing any method until all the strings in my hand fall down -__- made me so mad …
Am I the only one that calls it a triple barrel?
Great tutorial! You managed to make It make sense. Thku!
Hi Megan! Thank you so much for this video.
To be honest this is the ONLY type of boondoggle I've managed to learn so far aside from the basic box, and swirl because yours is the only video that was clear on the steps and made sense to me.
I hope your active, and will read this because I am hoping that you would be willing to make more videos?
Like I am trying to learn the Zebra tornado but the two videos I found are bad quality, move around like crazy, don't clearly explain what direction the strings need to go (straight across or at an angle to the left or right etc.)
Love how you did this!
I can’t do this the freaking strings kept slipping and I got really mad and I could do it
U need to show us everything
Why do you keep moving your hand off screen? It kind of makes it hard to copy you 🙁
I used to make these at camp when I was younger! I just ordered a bunch or rexlace from amazon and I'm so excited for it to come!!
roses are red violets are blue i came here in quarantine because i have nothing else to do
No offense but why long intro
that was really easy lmao thank you so much I thought this was gonna be so much harder,, but question: why do the white strings start depleting quicker than the other colors? I didn't notice until I made my own and suddenly one string was significantly less than the others….
I can not do the over under part can you please make another video telling how to do the over under part bc my color strings have a loop and I don’t know which loop to put it through

I learned how to do without any vids
