–OPEN ME ♡-
Hi guys! I recently decided to do a little DIY project with my dad for my room. I’ve been wanting a vanity for the longest time, but could not get myself to spend $200-$300 on a vanity. I was looking online and figured I could make one by myself for under $100! I hope you enjoyed this video and definitely thumbs up and subscribe to see more videos from me!
***HUGE THANK YOU TO MY DAD FOR HELPING ME ON THIS! I LOVE YOU! ♥♥♥

Are the lights like yellowish or white ?
What if u can’t nail it to the wall what can I do
Sorry watch this a couple times. Still a little confuse on how you control the lights. Was it with the extension cord?
Where did you get the mirror from
where can i find the mirror at
Hi, where did you get the small white square piece pictured in your thumbnail? I’m needing something like this to go over the top of my vanity table to keep if from getting dirty from all my makeup
I’m In The Process Of Making My Own Vanity & I’ve Used This And It’s So Helpful And Inexpensive!
Orange cones? those are wire nuts. Their also not only just orange sometimes yellow and such. 3/4 roughly stripping coating off wire not an inch. You were good at demonstrating though. But if u walk into a hardware store and ask for orange cones they will be confused.
“Using some type of scissors” ? them shits are made for cutting metal and just a tip never cut facing towards you when using a box cutter you will fuck yourself off if it slips omm and grab a drill with one hand on the grip and the other behind the butt to apply force …..not hating just a friendly tip
So do we have to buy 2 extension chords and do it to the other light??
Thanks to your video I build my own vanity
I just did my vanity mirror and I am sooo in love with it!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTf6mQ65bkg&t=20s
Looks really good but the lights look a bit dim
Wait how do you turn the lights on and off ??
Do you have to dim each side separately? If you plug the two dimmable extension cords into the remote adapter, the dimmers are separate. That's the only thing I'm confused on.
Is it just me or does she kind of look like Lina from “Jane the Vrigin” ??
Did you do the extension chord thing with both sets of lights?
You only need one extencion court or 2 for the stripes light bulds
This is exactly the idea I was thinking of and wanted to see done. I plan on building one of these for my wife. This will be a great gift for her. Thanks for the video and tips.
Where did you but those orange cones and do you know the name of them?
I love it ???
???
Thank you. Built this for my daughter. Came out perfect! Wish you can see it
Did you have to ground the bronze wire?
Did u wire both to 1 extension cord? Or did u wire them individually?
I just set something similar up for my step daughter. Great video and instructions but few concerns:
1) The cover for the vanity lights has a ground wire that instructions say to attach to the ground side that connects to power. That would be 3 wires going into the orange cap. I did not see this process done in the video but I believe I saw the ground wire near your hand in the video. I can see the same hole in the front of the cover. I believe a green screw was supposed to go in there but the hole was too small. I never used a screw, assuming the grounding comes from the cover, not the screw. This leads to my main concern.
2) Upon testing, I bought GE Reveal Clear bulbs (https://www.lowes.com/pd/GE-Reveal-43-Watt-EQ-Dimmable-Color-enhancing-Halogen-Decorative-Light-Bulbs-3-Pack/999911223) and hear a buzz only when the bulbs are dimmed. I avoided LEDs to avoid this. What was most troubling is the dimmer switch gets hot after 15+ minutes of usage.
You ever experience dimmer getting warm after long periods of usage?
Do you know the measurements of mirror and lights after it’s all put together? I’m going to make a table as well just need to know the width
???????
can someone explain why you need 2 of the remote controls? Im confused. ?
how do you connect the other side of the light bar
